ABOUT THE SAUNA:

During the tour, Pondr Sauna will be set up for guests of the show to enter and experience. There will be a shower area to rinse off as well. A limited amount of towels will be available. You will also be introduced to contrast therapy, an alternating action between a cold shower plunge and the warmth of the sauna can accelerate the body's recovery processes, reducing inflammation and enhancing circulation. Contrast therapy enhances your mental clarity: The shock of cold followed by the comfort of heat fine tunes your mental focus and is a great attunement to our mental health. Contrast therapy also strengthens immunity: regular sessions can boost your immune system, helping you fight off becoming under the weather more effectively. Being in a sauna helps form community: By huddling up together in this intense, rejuvenating experience, we find that it strengthens bonds and cultivates a supportive communal atmosphere.

Things to bring:

• a towel
• a blanket or robe
• a bathing suit
• water bottle for hydration
• indoor slippers for entering the sauna

ABOUT THE SONGWRITER:

Composer of Dark Sky Dunes, Michigan folk artist Greater Alexander was named Metro Detroit’s best songwriter by the city’s alt weekly. His original piano and guitar works have been featured in ads for Mass Mutual, Dwell Magazine, Amazon, Jeep, and Dodge, as well as the Comedy Central series “Detroiters.” Alexander’s full-length release “Positive Love” was re-released on vinyl in Japan where it sold out.

While the sauna is heating, Greater Alexander will perform a set off his latest album, Let Love In + new song ideas in production.
